How Our EICR Process Works — Simple, Safe, Nationwide

We make electrical testing easy from start to finish:

1. Book your inspection –

Our NICEIC-certified team will arrange a time that works for you.

2. On-site testing –

We check sockets, circuits, fuse boards, earthing systems and more to assess safety.

3. Get your report –

You’ll receive a clear pass/fail Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) with action codes (C1 to C3).

4. Fix any issues –

If needed, we’ll carry out any remedial work to bring you up to full compliance.

5. Retest and certify –

For serious faults, we’ll re-inspect and certify once resolved — so you’re safe and covered.

FAQs – Electrical Safety Testing Made Clear

Q: Do I legally need an EICR?

Yes – if you’re responsible for a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), a commercial rental, or a public-access building such as a shop, office, school or care home.

Most buildings need an EICR at least every 5 years. You’ll also need a new report if the tenant, use, or ownership changes.

Don’t worry – we’ll give you a clear, itemised list of what needs fixing. Our team can carry out the repairs, then retest and issue your certificate so you stay fully compliant. We operate nationwide.

Common Questions About Electrical Testing & Safety

Q: Do I need this if I’ve already had an EICR?

Possibly. EICRs inspect fixed wiring, but PAT testing checks portable appliances. They cover different areas – many workplaces need both.

Not at all. We can test in stages, after hours, or during quieter times to keep things running smoothly.

It varies. Some systems need testing every 1 to 5 years, depending on how your building is used. We’ll guide you based on your environment and legal requirements.

Security Lighting – Your Questions Answered

Yes. PIR sensors are a great option – they detect movement and instantly light up dark areas. Ideal for entrances, alleys and low-traffic zones.

Absolutely. LED lights are long-lasting, low maintenance and up to 80% more energy efficient than traditional fittings. They’re our go-to for most projects.
